If you’ve ever played a land sport with a bald head, you know why a good sweatband is essential. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been playing rugby or basketball and had sweat drip right in my eyes! Since we have no hair to work as a barrier against the sweat, it drips down and goes wherever it pleases. However, a headband soaks that up for me and makes my life a little easier. If you don’t believe me, all you have to do is take a look at the NBA. Now you know why all these bald guys are wearing sweatbands!
Okay, so now that you know the importance of having one, we are going to look at a few different brands of headbands and which ones are the best for bald men.
Don’t let the name fool you, this company makes high-quality products, one of which being headbands. There are two main aspects of these headbands that make them functional and useful. The first is that they stay on your head. If you’re playing a sport or working out, you need a headband that will stay on your head. The second is that they actually do their job and keep sweat out of your eyes. Since their headbands are relatively large, they do a good job of covering your forehead and preventing sweat from your scalp and forehead to go into your eyes. The quality I like the most about these headbands is that they look badass. For example, the Black Ops color looks really cool and gets me in the mindset to run through a brick wall!
The Nike Swoosh
I’m sure you guys have seen many people where this headband. This is the classic look that many of the greats have worn from Roger Federer to LeBron James. The Nike Swoosh headband is a trademark look that everyone knows. Another pro about this headband is that it’s fairly comfortable with cotton and nylon making up 95% of the material. However, one con for this product is that it is a one size fits all which makes it difficult for people with either very small or large heads. Even though this band is a classic, it doesn’t do the best job of absorbing sweat.
If you enjoy any time of biking from cycling to mountain biking, this is the headband you need. Halo Headband does a great job of not only keeping your head comfy while wearing a helmet but also absorbs all of the sweat before it drips down. This headband is one of the best for bicycles and should be used if you don’t want to end up with a sweaty helmet. Halo Headband also has a tie version of the headband that looks really fancy. Junk Brands and Nike also have a version of the head tie. The Nike version can be seen on many famous tennis players, one of which being Rafal Nadal.
In conclusion, my personal favorite is the Junk Brands headband because of how well it keeps sweat out of your eyes. They also have every headband under the sun from ties to bands and they all look really clean. However, if I were biking, I would have to go with the Halo Headband.
That’s it from us! We hope this was useful for you guys and please let us know in the comments if you have any questions!
